“THE ITALIAN FEDERATION OF VINTAGE BOATS”
at the Genoa Boat Show

On the occasion of the Genoa Boat Show, an announcement was made at the stand of the publishers Nautica Editrice to the press and public about a major event in the vintage boating sector: the foundation of the Italian Federation of Vintage Boats FIBaS. This initiative is the fruit of lengthy preparation and numerous encounters between the founding members which, beside ASDEC, include the main associations and bodies in the vintage boats sector, coordinated by the Department of Architecture and Design of the University of Genoa. The objective was to set up a national federation to bring together all the associations which safeguard our nautical heritage in order to operate more effectively and coordinate our efforts in the general interests of vintage boats.
